I received this free gift set back in December and have only recently gotten around to trying out the new products, bar the mascara. I'm quite stubborn with my makeup routine and like to stick to what I know, but I'm slowly prizing myself away from this mindset and decided to give other products and lovely at that, that are sitting in my drawer collecting unnecessary dust.
L'oreal Revitalift total repair mosituriser -
I really like the smell of this, it smells sort of like a creamy peach yogurt which I consider a pleasant and acceptable smell to use on my face. The texture is a little thicker and creamier than my usual everyday foundation and I gave it a little while to really sink in and settle and it has left my skin feeling soft and supple which was a pleasant surprise as I originally thought it may be left a little greasy.
L'oreal million lashes -
This mascara has a subtle hint of glitter that leaves you ready with an evening look. I find that sometimes I get on with this brush whilst other days I don't. The brush lacks sturdiness which leaves me often feeling in lack of control and unable to achieve the look I'm going for. The product does lengthen and thicken my lashes, however I also find it leaves them a little clumpy, although on days where we got along I do like this product, I wouldn't repurchase as it is little and often.
L'oreal Diamantissime lipstick in 325 Ferric Fushia -
This is such a lovely colour with hints subtle hints of glitter. I would definitely recommend this as more of an evening look lipstick because of the glitter. I know not everyone will be a fan of this, but when I take the majority of colour off with a tissue, it leave hints subtle hints of glitter on a natural coloured lip which I do quite like for a natural daytime look. This is a very moisturising lipstick that doesn't leave my lips looking goshiny and sticky.
L'oreal nail polish in crystalissime -
As far as I am aware this was a limited edition nail polish top coat colour that was given away during December 2012. This clear polish leaves hints of purple glitter over your selected colour.
